In the end I only ended up manning my booth for 3 of the 4 days. Fishing travel memoirs and films were of little interest to the 30,000 odd people passing through the, shooting/hunting/fishing/outdoors/”travel” expo.
“Oh, Patagonia . . . Alaska . . .nothing local there . . .” These were the kind of comments I heard. It would seem the Sacramento folk don’t venture too far from their own backyard.

I’ll man a booth selling beer and popcorn if I return, but there’s little chance of me wasting my time and money there again. Live and learn I guess . . .
