ANGLER WALKABOUT  -  Recent NEWS and future PROJECTS


With the recent completion of the memoir, ALASKA ON THE FLY, a 2012 calendar from my ALASKAN walkabout is now available along with my AFRICAN calendar.

PATAGONIA - Angler Walkabout Book Volume III. First draft completed!

This Patagonian book will be an account of five months spent hitchhiking and fly fishing the greater length of Argentinean and Chilean Patagonia, the last two months of which I had a stray dog as company in Chile. I completed this journey prior to going to Alaska, and in both Argentina and Chile I encountered incredible trout fishing, and a wonderful variety of interesting locals - met along the path less travelled.

Given time, I'll be releasing DVD's which will allow the fishing and scenery of my ALASKAN and PATAGONIAN walkabouts to come straight into your living room.

Over the upcoming Australian summer of 2011-12, I'll finally be embarking on an 'ANGLER WALKABOUT' in my home country of Australia. Utilising a car for the first time, I'll be exploring TASMANIA with a sea kayak on board when in search of pelagic sea species, and I'll also be doing a lot of hike-in and paddle-in fishing to target Tasmania's isolated backcountry trout.
