Welcome to the ANGLER WALKABOUT Website:
Through my, writing and photography, I aim to reveal the beauty, and incredible diversity of the people and places our world has to offer. I hope that my work might help to illustrate how important it is for us to preserve traditional culture, and the natural abundance we are so lucky to still have today - I hope we can fish together - for the the future!
My first ANGLER WALKABOUT book was produced in 2006, and detailed my travels fishing through Africa during 2004-05. This was the first time I documented my travels and fishing experiences in books.
As you will further discover in my second book, ALASKA ON THE FLY, my travels invariably aim to get me 'off the beaten track' in an attempt to meet the local people, and to chase fish in the isolation that true wilderness allows us to find. I hope you enjoy my work, and I look forward to perhaps crossing paths somewhere on a river, or the wide open road one day. If you have comments or questions please feel free to contact me.
